Cinematography:
First-Person Perspective (POV) lying flat on the ice. The lens is splashed with freezing water, distorting the view slightly. The contrast is sharp between the blinding white ice and the pitch-black, freezing water in the hole.
Scene:
Right at the edge of the jagged ice hole. The water is churning dark and slushy. A Golden Retriever puppy is struggling desperately in the freezing water, paws slipping on the slick ice edge, head barely above the surface.
Actions:
The camera (rescuer) inches forward until the lens hangs over the dark water. The ice edge crumbles slightly under the weight. The rescuer reaches out with two hands wearing yellow waterproof gloves. The puppy begins to sink, but the rescuer plunges their hands into the freezing water, grabs the puppy by the collar and scruff, and violently hauls the wet, heavy dog up and onto the solid ice, sliding backward to safety.
Background Sound:
The frantic splashing of water. The puppy’s distressed, high-pitched yelping and gasping. The loud splash as the rescuer’s arms hit the water. The rescuer’s strained grunt of exertion followed by a relieved "I got you! Good boy!" as they slide back.
