Style:
Photorealistic, POV Underground Exploration, Claustrophobic, Slimy and Wet, Flashlight Lit, GoPro/Action Camera Aesthetic.
Cinematography:
First-Person Perspective (POV) inside a cylindrical concrete tunnel. The scene is pitch black, illuminated only by the rescuer's shaking headlamp. The light reflects off the rushing, murky water and the slimy green concrete walls. The camera movement is slippery and chaotic.
Scene:
Deep inside the storm drain system. The water level is rising rapidly. About 10 meters ahead, a small Beagle dog is clinging desperately to a pile of accumulated trash and branches, shivering as the current pulls at its legs.
Actions:
The camera (rescuer) splashes violently through the knee-deep sludge, struggling to keep balance on the curved, slippery floor. The rescuer shouts into the echoey tunnel. As the water surges, the dog slips. The rescuer lunges forward, diving hands-first into the filth, and grabs the dog by its harness just before it is swept into a smaller, submerged pipe. The rescuer lifts the dog high up toward the camera lens to keep it dry.
Background Sound:
The echoing roar of rushing water in the tunnel. The wet, splashing footsteps of the rescuer. The dog’s frightened whining echoing off the walls. The rescuer’s heavy, echoing breathing and a loud "I got you! I got you!"
