Cinematography:
First-Person Perspective (POV) dangling in mid-air. The only light comes from the rescuer’s headlamp, which cuts through floating dust particles. The walls are jagged rock and rotting wood. The camera spins slowly, creating a dizzying effect.
Scene:
Deep inside the narrow mine shaft, about 30 meters down. The walls are wet and unstable. Perched precariously on a small, crumbling ledge of rock is a small Beagle puppy, freezing and too scared to move.
Actions:
The camera (rescuer) drops rapidly toward the puppy. A rock dislodges from the wall and falls past the lens. The rescuer brakes hard on the rope just above the ledge. The puppy whimpers and backs away. The rescuer extends a gloved hand slowly, saying "Easy, easy," then lunges to grab the puppy by the harness just as the ledge crumbles into the darkness below. The rescuer swings in the air, holding the puppy tight against their chest.
Background Sound:
The hollow, echoing wind inside the shaft. The rescuer’s loud, echoey breathing. The sound of rocks falling and hitting the bottom far below. The puppy’s terrified whining. The rescuer’s relieved sigh, "I got you. Don't look down."
